Thanksgiving

Down on the Farm

By Kris & Diana Jones

Kris always goes to his Grandma and Grandpa's house in Idaho. They live on a farm! They always get together, and while the women are cooking in the kitchen, the men go out and chop wood and shoot clay pigeons. Then they eat a lot of food and nap for the rest of the day.

Don't like turkey?
Make a ham!!

By Chris & Sarah Jones

Call me un-American, but I have never really liked turkey very much. Especially not enough to have a fridge full of left-over bird. It seems strange, but every year for Thanksgiving, we eat a ham. We love to make casseroles and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches with the leftovers.
